Bottle from THAT PLACE I ALWAYS GO TO (hint: it’s in MA). Thanks, me! 500 mL bottle which contained a hazy gold with a snowy white head two-to-three fingers in length. FINALLY -- A FUCKIN’ STRONG PILS ENTERS DA MIX!!!! Aromas of sourdough bread, lemonade, candied orange, Gari, and floral hops. Niiiice! Starts off with malt, graham crackers, sourdough, rye, and ends with wet grass, hops, blood orange, tangerine, and sea salt. As far as experimental beers go, this takes the cake. Incredibly impressed I actually enjoyed this. I will surely have this again.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Glouglouburp (5562) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 10, 2013
In short: A tasty rye-based aromatic hoppy lager like no other. Excellent
How: Bottle 500ml. Consumed fresh two weeks after purchase from the brewery, bottle given to me by lushawn, thanks a lot Shawn
The look: Clear shining pale golden body topped by a enormous dense white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass. A beautiful beer.
In long: Very aromatic hoppy nose full of flowers, lemon pie, citrus fruits, more… A very bright aroma with a freshness quality that is hard to put into words. Needless to say it is inviting. Taste lets the rye shines but it does not overwhelming the beer, typical spiciness that usually accompanies rye-based beers, a slice of lemon pie with a lot of meringue, a little piece of fluffy cheese cake, a truckload of hops (fresh flowers, wet green grass, citrus fruits) providing a tasty bitterness is never aggressive. Mouthfeel is super-comfortable with a full and slightly doughy body supported by lots of soft bubbles. Maybe a bit too tasty to be as seesionnable as like their own Jabby Brau, but this is nonetheless another kick-ass Jack’s Abby offering. Oh man I love craftbeer, I wish everybody loved craftbeer, I find it hard to watch my neighbour drink macro crap, mostly because she keeps her blinds closed.

Aroma is spicy rye, grassy bitter hops, and a lovely pils maltiness that comes forward. Lovely creamy mouthfeel with a tingle of carbonation. Flavor is bursting with tangy rye, and crackery malt. The hops tingle the taste buds from start to finish with flavors of sweet grass and bitter grapefruit. Lovely
