4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours an unfiltered pale yellow with a big white head that fades some but never dissipates totally. The aroma has a nice toasted malt and vaguely spicy or herbal feel to it with a clean, grassy hop note. Medium body. The taste is much like a pilsener should be with the added herbal bite and a clean crisp finish. Worth a higher grade.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
THANKS! More than half of a 355 ml. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Now this is a brewery that I have been looking forward to trying since forever. Hazy orange. Nose is a bit bland, light metallic lager note with some light hops. Taste is light bit empty sweetish lager upfront, white sugar, sweet bread, bit sticky yeast, crackers, finish is quite hop forward in USA-fashion, floral and soft citrus hops, reasonable hop finish, not extreme or anything but more than you would usually expect with a beer of this style. Light lingering grass bitterness, nice but misses some cohesion / balance between the pilsner & extra hop side. Decent but if this is an indication of their other stuff, this is heavily overrated.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours very hazy pale golden with a rather thin creamy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty and herbal with crackers, straw, lemon zest, lemon balm and hints of biscuits. Taste is bitter, slightly malty and herbal with crackers, biscuits, moist grass, lemon balm, orange zest and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, slightly sparkling and light bodied. Finish is bitter, slightly malty and herbal with crackers, biscuits, moist grass, lemon balm and lemon zest. Wow! Chewy cracker malts and herbal hoppyness. The perfect pilsner?

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle pours a murky gold with some active, frothy, white head. Nose has some dried corn, some metal, straw, grass, some mild melon, a little bread dough. Flavor is a little better, a nice lemon character, mild honey, bread dough, some light radish, straw. Clean finish.

Golden colour. Grain, bread aroma. Grainy taste as well, along with some hops. Boring

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrus, grassy hops, and a little skunk in the aroma. Flavor is bittersweet, with fruit, grassy bitterness, and a little sour funk. Grassy hop finish. OK, but not the best effort from this brewery.

355ml bottle (Birofilia2014, Zywiec) (5+:3:5+:3:10+=2.6+++)
Paleish, brief head, fizzy. Simple malty lager grains in the aroma, some subtle bitterness. Similar taste, some citrus. Simple refreshing lager. Finish has some nice bitterness. Possible underrate, this wasn’t bad at all, hence several plus signs

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
They’ve got the appearance down to style - hazy yellow/orange body with a large white head up top. The aroma is pretty mild, yeast and slight touches of hop spice. On the tongue the biggest flavor is definitely bready malts, but fades to herbal hop. There’s a surprisingly strong alcohol profile on the nose and the flavor that’s a turnoff in a good pils. Pretty much a perfect mouthfeel, soft, smooth, but with just enough fizz to keep it interesting. I love a good pils and am consistently impressed with Jack’s Abby, so I’m slightly disappointed with this. Good not great.
