3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl courtesy of import-savvy idiosynkrasie, mercy! A standard greenish hay pour with contained fresh white bread dough and straw notes gives way to a subtle complexity in hop florals giving off cavaillon melon, nettle, mint and a fresh "pollenised" quality I cannot quite lay my finger on against a lean cereal crispness. Easy chugger, with interestingly exotic distractions underneath the surface.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
pours a slighty hazy gold color. It has that sweet light bready malt aroma you’d expect from a typical pilsner as well as a fruity tartness.. i want to see it’s green apple of some kind. Flavor is quite nice. While I can’t put my finger on anything too specific, I’ll say it’s taste is a good blend of sweet, bitter, and spicy, and tart.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has cautious fruity notes, peach, apricot, a touch of white bread and straw. Taste is moderately sweet pale malty, a touch of white bread, slightly bitter, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of peach and apricot again; hoppy flavours turn from fruity to grassy in the finish. Very nice Pilsener.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light golden haze, white head. Light citrusy cereal aroma. Bright citrus lemon and orange. Light carbonation, sweet in the middle. Mild saaz hop finish. Because this is Jack’s Abby I was expecting amazing, turned out to be "only" very good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 fl. oz. bottle, bought at Grebhan´s in Bremen. Pours out pale golden, light unclear, some bigger sediments, small fine head. Fresh hopy, crisp flower meadows on the nose. Starts hop fruity, very fresh, citrus, melon, mid carbonated. Dry hay and grain. Nice bitterness. Great east coast interpretation of a Pilsener. Highly recommanded.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 fl oz bottle, thanks to _angst_ (and Emma). Sampled on September 18, 2014. Marked 5.1% ABV and 35 IBU (OG 12.5 Plato). No clearly indicated BB date as far as I can find.
Clear honey to golden color, fairly big, fluffy, lasting, nice looking white head. Clean, malty, a tad bit malty sweet, light grainy and bready, toasty scent. Malty, fresh, smooth, a little bit sweet, herbal hoppy, light fruity, grainy taste. Herbal, grassy, malty aftertaste. Very fresh and clean indeed. To the low side CO2, makes for a rather smooth soft body and mouthfeel though, but I’d enjoy it more if it had a bit more CO2 still. Medium to medium high bitterness, but it is masked by (likely) noble hops and a balance to the beer, perhaps brewed with soft water? Very nice, highly drinkable, very glad I got a bottle to bring home and drink as well. Cheers!
Turns rather hazy when I pour the last of the bottle in the glass as well. The drink turns even more fruity with that pour too, still a wonderful beer.
