This aromatic lager features a sunshine hue, herbal noble hop nose, and a dry finish. We balance pilsner malt with a blend of European hops and polish it with extended periods of cold conditioning. You’re royalty, now drink like it. OG 12.5 Plato / IBUs 35 / ABV 5.1%

Poured from bottle into pint glass: Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of light malt and slight piney / resin hop. Taste is that of a good pilsner, crisp, light, with a little hop kick at the end. None of that crappy skunky domestic flavor. Light body, good carbonation. This is a nice Pils.

Pour is clear golden yellowish amber with a white head. Nose is clean grain, light caramel, a hint of butter, herbal bitter hop. Taste is bright grain and notes of caramel malts with a fairly strong herbal hop finish and aggressive bitterness. Strong carbonation and dry finish with a medium to light body.

Bottle. Thanks bigbro. Pours clear golden with a small, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has grass, herbs, light citrus, soft crisp malts. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has doughy and fairly crisp malts, herbs, oregano, citrus, a touch of bog myrtle. Good lingering bitterness. Solid.

Pale straw with good white fluffy head. Lightly toasty malt aroma with bits of honey and lemon. Really fresh and bright lemon and toast flavor. Melon and lime. Really nice light body, lively carbonation and active bitterness in the finish. Awesome pilsner.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Yankee Spirits - Attleboro, MA. MFG 02.14.2014. Green, herbal, raw, grass and hay aroma, pungent and lacking any pilsner malt or lager signature. The upfront flavor starts softly with light sugars and some Euro hop aroma, but then the tongue gets blasted and scoured with a parching, dusty, gray bitterness that sends the whole thing out of alignment and tastes like the dregs of a dry-hopped keg and trub. After that, there’s not that much left. At two months old, this shouldn’t be too out of shape, but the mid-palate grass and bitter blast makes this not very good.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy light golden with a white head. True to style pilsener but not all that exciting. Much prefer almost any of the other beers from this brewery.

Very solid, drinkable and clean pilsener. Probably the second most true to style, by the book beer that Jack’s makes. Really tasty, I’d buy this a decent amount if I lived up there.
