Wenig herber Antrunk, in dem weiche Malznoten im Vordergrund stehen. Im Mittelteil etwas würziger, das Bier ist zudem etwas süßer. Die Süße wirkt dabei künstlich, ohne dass dies stören würde. Im Hintergrund ist im Abgang eine trockene und fehlerhafte adstringente Note vorhanden. Insgesamt ein süffiges Dunkles mit nicht sonderlich gelungenem Abgang. 7/8/7/4/9/6

Bottled@GBBF2009. Deep ambery brown colour with mediumsized fluffy/foamy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight roasted notes as well as toffee and some slight burnt sugary notes as well. Flavour is burnt sugar, some caramel malts, mild burnt sugary notes as well as slightly roasted notes. Some bitterness in the finish as well as rather sweet malts.
