3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy reddish brown color. Sweet, peppery and clovey aroma with tart fruitiness and hint of smoke. Malty, clovey and peppery flavor with banana, chocolate and dark fruits. Fairly good dunkelweizen, although there is some conflict between dark malts and strong spiciness.

Bottle @ Quinns. Deep amber with a dense head. Malty banana esters in the nose. Flavour is banana nut bread and malt with notes of grain, yeast and spice. Medium body with a peppery malt finish. Quite refreshing.

A Mes rate:
50cl bottle from Quinns. Muddy brown colour with a thin but long lasting head and lots of lace. Otherwise a reasonable dunkelweiss. Straight forward but reasonably satisfying. You know the drill. Grains, yeast, a little banana a some sweet fruity notes.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: cloudy, brownish-amber coloured, medium-sized tanned head, quickly diminishing; a mix of malty or caramelly notes and sourish-fruity aromas; sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; yeasty-bitter finish. O.K., nothing more....

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a stable off-white medium foam. Clovy and wheat-malty aroma with caramel and a shy banana-fruity note. Initially grainy and wheaty taste with shy fruity (banana, citrus) esters; light-sweet and slightly lactic sour flavour, light bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel. Short, moderately dry, slightly bitter and tart finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy murky brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of milk, wheat, some banana. Taste has indeed some cola, yeast, milk. Bit flat for a dunkelweizen.
