Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!)
Poured a murky brown body with a lasting big off white head. Perfumey nose, clove, banana, ending dusty. Overly chalky yeasty taste, sweet banana, very very light alcohol, ends with a strong presence of chewed up bubblegum. Hm, ok, relatively random Dunkelweizen.

Koelschtrinker (9998) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011
Sehr hefiger Geruch. Test vom 18.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,9,8,11,9 - 9,10

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy reddish brown color. Sweet, peppery and clovey aroma with tart fruitiness and hint of smoke. Malty, clovey and peppery flavor with banana, chocolate and dark fruits. Fairly good dunkelweizen, although there is some conflict between dark malts and strong spiciness.

Bottle @ Quinns. Deep amber with a dense head. Malty banana esters in the nose. Flavour is banana nut bread and malt with notes of grain, yeast and spice. Medium body with a peppery malt finish. Quite refreshing.
