10,6,6, 8,5,6 - 6,65 - 31/10/12

Many thanks to Martin for this bottle. The beer starts smooth and yeasty with lots of clove. Very smooth, not too sweetish, very soft. The clove is intense, only a low fruitiness, but it fits in great. Round and yeasty-clove aftertaste, fresh with nearly no bitterness. Round and nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a fair head that fades to nominal lacings. Aroma is sweet with banana, fruit, hint of spice and citrus. Taste of banana, nice touch of fruit and bit of malt sweetness. Mild bitterness anda fairly clean finish. Moderate body, smooth, nicely crafted. Enjoyable beer that goes down easy.

Beerenberger (1561) - Fischer, Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Tasted while traveling the Danube. Aroma of bananas and spices. A cloudy amber hue with a frothy lasting white head and minimal lacing yield a taste similar to the nose. Bananas, yeast, and spices. Slightly sweet. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall, an easy drinking hefeweizen.

Otima weiss! Cheirosa, refrescante, cremosa.
