Beim Öffnen strömt einem ein malzig frischer Geruch entgegen. Genau so fällt auch das Aroma auf. sehr lecker-sehr süffig. Im Nachgeschmack leicht herb und malzig. Leider schmeckt es hin und wieder leicht metallern, weshalb es zwar ein sehr gutes, aber kein Top Bier ist. Test vom 8.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,12,14,9,11,11 - 11,10

0.5 l bottle. Golden color. Honeyish aroma with bready maltiness. Sweetish honeyish malty flavor. Low bitterness, very malt forward. Not intresting as such but might go well with greasy meats.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty – grainy sweetish aroma. Body is light to medium, malty – grainy flavor, some sweetness and very light hoppyness. Finish is short, malty – grainy, sweetish. Light helles, no hoppyness.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw and grain.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, sour malt, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body with sweet malts and a very subdued bitterness. 210309

Bottle, 5.3%. Weak chalky aroma. Clear golden colour. Almost no head. The flavour is citric with a little dust or perhaps butter. Has a little citrus/fruit, seems to come from the hops.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Dry and hoppy aroma with a light bitterness coming through. Bitter and mild citrus fruity flavoured. Light grassy note. Semi bitter and sweet finish.

A mes rate: 50cl bottle from Quinns. Gold is the right name for it. Not really sure what is wintery about it. Malts up front and some delicate hoppiness. Reasonable mouthfeel and a nice bitter hop finish. Surprisingly ok.

Bottled, Delirium Café Brussel. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Good soft grainy sweet malt aromas with background hop notes. Soft in the mouth with the sweet graininess dominant and lingering into the finish although some hops return.
