Bottle at home, 500ml, poured into a big weizzen glass, ABV 5.2% Dark amber colour on a hazy body, tall and very thick head, slighty off white in colour, with great retention, leaving spots of lacing around the glass. Lots of yeast and coloveon the aroma with some fruity notes rising from the back, mostly ripe pears and ripe bananas. Nice taste, refreshing, again waith ripe bananas, especially on the finish and the aftertaste, accompanied there by clove. Medium thick body, soft carbonation. Quite nice.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangebraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Surprisingly dark with a medium stable head. Smell is lots of yeast. Taste has very strong banana aroma combined with bread and yeast. Not bad.

(50 cl bottle) Hazelnut brown colour, cloudy. Head is rather small for a Hefeweizen. Aroma is banana, caramel, a hint of cloves, and to my surprise some grassy hops, mainly in the finish. Taste is medium sweet with very little bitterness. Medium body, slightly sticky texture, soft carbonation. A bit too sweet and sticky to be suited for every occasion, but otherwise a very good and well-made example of that style. A winter beer, indeed.

Countbeer (4966) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle: Vast white head, medium to smaller sized, disappears slow and a leaves thin closed lacing on top of a murky brown colored beer. Smell loads of bananas with some wheat and yeast a like notes. Very nice smell. Taste is a creamy mix of banana, vanilla, spices, wheat, floral, bitters, malts and light dry nutty. Aftertaste malts, bitters, sweets, wheat and a subtle dryness. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. Very nice balanced and the taste is good!
