COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The historic city of Munich, with its hard, chalky water, by its nature, gave birth to dark brews. Jacob Rosenberger Germanic Style Dark is a splendid blend of dark roasted malts and lightly dried malts to create a dark brew of rich full-bodied taste.

WARNING, Not one of the 12 GREATEST BREW! I have to sample all 12, as my wife got this for me and with her not liking ratebeer as it is, I want her to think she did good. The thought counts.

A novel idea. "12 greatest beers of the world". But, no, let's make a batch of amber, a batch of pale, a batch of brown and bottle it and put different labels on it. OK, not quite true, but The differences between these beers, even though said to be different styles was scary. Light amber color with an off white fizzy head. Acidic and bland.

As with the rest of the beers from this sampler pack - this was terrible. The first thing I noticed about this beer while pouring it was the dead gnat that poured into the glass. I wasn’t going to drink it, but Dogbrick insisted that I try it. yuck. Absolutely terrible. More orange crap.

Part of the ’12 Greatest Brews of the World’ sampler pack found at my local Wal-Mart. No matter what the label says, they refuse to be any other color than orange. This beer poured a dark orange with minimal head and lace (+ one insect). The gnat was the most interesting thing about this beer. Practically no aroma (maybe some malt) and I actually thought about putting more insects in the beer so it would actually taste different than all the other Old European brews I have tried so far. No such luck.

Probably the best of the self proclaimed 12 greatest beers. They are all absolutely horrible. I suppose i knew that when brock picked it up from of all places, Sams club. The thing about all 12 of these brews is that they all are supposed to be different flavors, but they all taste the same. And really, would the 12 greatest beers actually have twist off caps. The only good thing is that we were hammered when we rated them, so at least our ratings are interesting.
