Very intense raspberry aroma - sweet yet a little tart. Medium body, tart and intense raspberry flavours. I don’t really pick up the artificial sweeteners, luckily. Quite fresh with the tartness. 041009 Yves (1052), Beerse, Belgium

Pours clear red-golden with a nice, frothy, pink head. Great lacings. Aroma is sweet, but there is still good raspberries in there. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, some slight elegant tartness still present. A touch of caramel and a sugary finish. This is actually quite drinkable and the stronger of the three Jacobins offerings I had in Brügge.
