mabel (1618), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 10, 2008 [1187-20080304] Bottle. Raspberry grains aroma is a little sweet and tart. Clear, dark red pink body with a medium-lasting foamy light pink head. Tart raspberry juice flavour has a little graininess. Light-medium body. Not really a beer but a fair drink.
(@ Lily; Brugges, BE; w/ jerc) jerc (3103), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 14, 2008 2008-03-04. Listed on the menu as Framboise I believe, but I assume its the Max and not the regular Framboise. Dark red body with a modest foamy pink head and brief lacing. (3+) Sweet tart raspberry in the aroma is prominent and dominant. (6+) Similar sweet raspberry in flavour, light candyish notes brief hint of sourness in the finish does not seem to return. Average palate. One dimensional but not terrible. Bottle at Lily Bistro, Brugge Skinnyviking (2599), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 8, 2008 Bottle. High creamy pink and lasting head. Hazy ruby body. Very distinct and lovely raspberries aroma. Flavor of course raspberries with a good deal of acidity, low carbonation and a long aftertaste. WWonder if it gets any better. SHIG (1470), Oberoffligen, Germany Dec 19, 2007 Bottle: Deep dark red with light red head. Strong raspberry aroma. Taste is a carbonated raspberry with a tangy finish.
