11.2 oz bottle poured in a Jacobins tulip...Pours a dark blood red, that is very clear, interesting look. A huge purple head rises about four fingers, great retention and lacing...The aroma is very sweet raspberries not candied though, very similar to St. Louis Framboise. A hint of tartness of the finish helps to round this out...The taste is really nice, again sweet to start but saved by a nice strong tartness that breaks the sweetness enough to allow this to be drinkable. A very successful fruit beet, albeit a sweet one. If you like the ST Louis, New Glaurus fruit beers this is for you.

Bottle. High creamy pink and lasting head. Hazy ruby body. Very distinct and lovely raspberries aroma. Flavor of course raspberries with a good deal of acidity, low carbonation and a long aftertaste. WWonder if it gets any better.

Bottle at the Barton Arms, Birmingham. Big pink, with a good cordial aroma. Smooth, very syruppy, with some citricity on the finish. A good choice, but not outstanding - a little one dimensional.

Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 10, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2004 Red color shining a lot fizzy, rich of bead. Compact and adherent foam. Aspect much elegant one. Delicate and rich aroma. Smell of forest, yields red and raspberry. The beer’s aroma is nonexistent but the flavor is so good that is difficult not to appreciate it.

Bottle from Beer Planet. It pours clear ruby red with a pink head. The aroma is ripe raspberries with a acidic hint of lemon. Flavour is raspberries not very sweet and light acidic. Its a bit one dimensional and thin bodied but quite pleasant. Ends slightly tart raspberry like.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear warm red with a pink head. Very intense raspberry aroma - sweet yet a little tart. Medium body, tart and intense raspberry flavours. I don’t really pick up the artificial sweeteners, luckily. Quite fresh with the tartness. 041009

Bottled (BB 03/2005, so this is vintage bottle :))
Deep red, small reddish head, some lace. Aroma of rasberries, quite ok not too artifical. Fresh, sweetish fresh rasberry flavor, some acidity in the finish. Suprisingly good, fresh, not artifical.
