(Bottle 25 cl) Deep reddish dark, with a small, fine, pink head. This is the real deal, a pure, dry raspberry flavour - far from the stickingly, artificial sweetness which so often make Framboises a doubtful pleasure. This has both an underlying tartness and - surprisingly - some hops in the finish. Delicious. 290998

Dark red. Lots of rasberry in nose, also a bit sweet and dry. Medium body. Sweet, rasberry-like, dry, a bit sour flavor. Bottle was pretty old but still in good condition thanks to proper storage.

Bottled. Red with pink head. Sweet mature raspberry aroma. Lightly balsamic and very sweet with syrupy finish.

Had this at 't Brugs Beertje on 5-15-03. Nice deep red color. Strong pink head. Powerful raspberry aroma with a tart raspberry taste. The finishes mixes in some fruity sweetness on top of the tartness. Nice beer.

Bottle says best before 6 June 2002 but here goes anyway.
Deep ruby red clear with small light purple brown head and light lacing.
Faint ripe sweet and fainter still unripe sour raspberry aromas.
Definitely not sweet in taste. Generally soft palate. Medium strength unripe sour raspberry flavoured start. Light sour middle, finish and aftertaste. Has sufficient sour character to retain interest but lacks emphasis to be a top Lambic.
