0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
A disgrace to the noble image of the gueuze. This is a sweetened, watered down abomination, not worthy of the name.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
25cl bottle with expiry 4/14. Dark amber appearance with medium sized dense white head that reduces to a stable collar. Nose is funky with barnyard and musty woodiness with hints of apples and oranges. Palate is tart and lively with quite sweet flavours coming through at the end. Not a hardcore geuze but certainly better than those horrible syrup infused versions that call themselves "lambic beers".

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
250ml bottle from Archive. The first taste is mouth puckering which is what you want in a gueuze. Settles down after that and ends up being quite easy to drink.
