2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at Delirium Cafe, pours a hazy dull bronze with a small off-white head. Nose brings out a little oak, some stale notes and champagne. Flavour is far from an authentic gueuze, but it’s far from undrinkable. Notes of champagne, oak, and light tartness. Not complex, but also not off-putting. Not too bad for a fake gueuze.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From 250 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber-brown with a small white head that falls to a collar. Fine carbonation. Aromas of fresh green apples, white grapes, balsamic vinegar, cherry and a touch of lemon juice. Taste is a bit simpler than the nose would suggest with a lactic sourness dominating before subsiding to fresh citrus at the back end with a white wine note also there. Light bodied with a fruity aftertaste. A pretty good lambic.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pale orange-brown. rocky head with sparse chunks of lace. Nose is bready with the slightest tang. sour, even for a gueuze, and earthy. slightly metallic. Light fruity notes. Light bodied and a bit astringent. Gueuze-wise, you do much better than this.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Billig Gueze. Tur de inte har denna på det lokala systemet, då skulle det bli bruksöl. Helt ok, lite tam. Väl kort eftersmak.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (250 ml). Shared by JulienHuxley for breakfast. Clear golden/orange with a medium fizzy white head and little lacing. Aroma is of light funk, moderate sweetness and caramel. Taste is moderately sweet with light funk, caramel and subdued wood presence. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry. Not very complex, but not gross either. I would even say that this is drinkable (moderately).

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
A disgrace to the noble image of the gueuze. This is a sweetened, watered down abomination, not worthy of the name.
