Bottle picked up from Beers of Europe at the end of April. Pours light amber barely any head at all just a few tiny bubbles. Aroma nowhere near as sharp as other gueuze’s with an almost champagne like aroma (not that I drink that stuff much) Sweeter than other gueuze, nice sourness, woody flavours, this would be a great introduction to gueuze, I’m going against the grain with the other raters here but I really liked this.

Bright and clear golden color, large fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma has a fair amount of funk, which is also evident in the taste, along with dusty lemons and rising white bread dough. Not bad.

Sipped a glass of this in the shadow of the Cathedral in Brussels. A great experience. This one is a sweeter more non-traditional geuze but it is still funky and tasty.

Poured an amber orange color with an ok head. Decent lacing, but this one wasn’t overly impressive (other than the fact that the sourness wasn’t disgusting - I’m not a lambic lover). Aroma was sour of lemons and apples mixed together. The flavor was much of the same, but with a somewhat “soft” finish that was bearable. Definitely a sour beer, but not too bad for within its style.

A not very transparant amber colour, with a couple of bubbles. The body looks a little bit watery too. A white, quite rapidly diminshing head. Sour, yoghurt aroma. Quite sour aroma, little sweety in the beginning too. It ends quite sour. I do not find it al bad as others do. I find this a very good gueuze-lambic, in the original interpretation of what a gueuze should be. I was as a matter of fact quite astonished that there exists such good gueuzes in Western Flanders were normally no lambic can be brewn. I am pleased.

Hazy golden, almost amber with that familar fine, white geuze head. Lemony aroma with apples and vanilla. Flavours are sweeter and the oaky vanilla more pronounced than the citrus. Even a hint of sour yoghurt, giving a dry finish. Good carbonation, medium body. An interesting (though sweetened) geuze from beyond Pajottenland.

Bottle 250ml @ Papsoe
Pours cloudy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of fruity classic sour gueuze. Taste is light sweet and light to medium sour with a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draft at Eulogy. Pours crystal golden in color without much head to speak of. The aroma is citrusy and clean. Flavor profile is high on citrus with a touch of green apple. Finish is clean.
