3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 diabel (1538) - Aarschot, - DEC 29, 2003
A not very transparant amber colour, with a couple of bubbles. The body looks a little bit watery too. A white, quite rapidly diminshing head. Sour, yoghurt aroma. Quite sour aroma, little sweety in the beginning too. It ends quite sour. I do not find it al bad as others do. I find this a very good gueuze-lambic, in the original interpretation of what a gueuze should be. I was as a matter of fact quite astonished that there exists such good gueuzes in Western Flanders were normally no lambic can be brewn. I am pleased.

10 cl sample @ Gastropub Tuulensuu Gueuze blind tasting. BBE 08.11.2011.
Pours hazy orange color with medium head. Aroma of yeast, sweet fruits and malts. Flavor of malts, fruits, mild grass. Very low carbonation. Not the best of gueuzes.
Placed #15 of 15.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Martinus (873) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2012
Amber brown colour, decent and lasting white head. Aroma of wood, light funk, light red fruits. Quite sweet flavour, light malts. Finish mostly sweet, with a light red wine touch.
Rather too sweet for a geuze imho, without a lot of character.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 laiti (1712) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2012
33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu gueuze blind tasting, BBE 08.11.2011. Rated on 20.05.2012
Aroma is sweetish with strawberries, raspberries and hints of moldy cellar. Flavour is sweet with strawberries and raspberries. No moldy cellar here, but some kind of stale savor exists. This is ok stuff so far as you do not take this as a gueuze or a lambic.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 tiong (1306) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAY 20, 2012
Tasted @ Gastropub Tuulensuu geuze blind tasting 2012. #15/15 overall rating
Pours murky orange with a small head. Aroma of sugary malts and fruits. Taste is sweet, sugary, slightly malty and smooth. Finish is sugary and syrupy with watery notes. Not very pleasant.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 lusikka (2533) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 20, 2012
10 cl sample @ Gastropub Tuulensuu Gueuze Blind Tasting 2012.
Pours a dark brown colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey and a hint of bubblegum. Flavour of sweet malts, cardboard, sour fruits and some nuts. Weak sour mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Overall a sweet gueuze without much character.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 kramer (3459) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2012
Bottle, Delirium Cafe. Pours a dark amber body with a nice frothy one inch off-white head. The nose is showing more sugar than most of the Faro’s that I’ve had, zero funkiness making it past all the sweetener. The flavor is very sweet, stale wet malts and wheat, minimal remnants of actual lambic. Mouthfeel is heavy and thick with fizzy carbonation. This one is not so good in any sense, let alone with reference to the style.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 30, 2012
(bottle) Clear, light-amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Acidic and slightly mouldy Lambic aroma with notes of old and overripe apples. Moderately acidic and tart flavour with a delicate level of sweetness, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately dry, slightly mouldy and woody (cara-)malty taste; woody and fruiy-tart finish with a touch of vinegar. Drinkable but no revelation. 24.III.12
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Travlr (5402) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Bright and clear golden color, large fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma has a fair amount of funk, which is also evident in the taste, along with dusty lemons and rising white bread dough. Not bad.

Pours copper with small head. Faintly sour aroma. Buttermilk flavour, not very complex. Not bad, just boring.
