[10/9/13] Bottle at my hotel room in Brussels. Red color with nice pink head. Sweet cherry and marzipan aroma, kinda sweet and candy-ish but pretty pleasanbt. Sweet sugary flavor of cherry candy with faint tartness. Rather light-bodied. Too sweet but quite enjoyable.

Pretty decent for me. Well-balanced cherry with some mash malt. Sourness and sweetness well-balanced. Pours ruby red with decent head and lacing. Underpinnings of florals here. Not sure why this rates so badly. Bottle at Barhop.

ClubGonzo (4238) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 7, 2013
Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a deep coppery cherry red clear body with a large pink-hued creamy white head of considerable durability. Nice. Nose is sweet artificial cherry tones, cherry pits, syrup and hints of almond essence. Taste is even sweeter, with loads of syrupy almond essence up front and some semi-tart cherries in the back before a sugar-and-cherry mix finishes the palate. Full body, medium carbonation. For a sugary sweet "kriek", itís not too bad. Then again, this is not a particularly good genre in and by itself. :-P

0,25 l bottle. The year is 2013 and we finally have diffenrent kriek beers at selected super markets, athe beer selction in norwegian stores is definetly improving and, long may it continue. This little cherry monster does not have much foam. Colour is deep red. Aroma is basically cherry. After a while itís more nutty actually. The taste is very fresh balancing the extreme sweetness. Not the most complex kriek, but very drinkable however.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 13.09.2013, 0,25l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is lots of sweet cherries, PEZ cherry candy, wet grain. Taste is lots of fresh sour cherries, wet grain, hay. Little bitterness. Nice for beeing this low ABV, and for the masses of fresh sour cherries.

25 cl Bottle. Decent cherry nose, a bit of cream, almonds. A touch of acid. Pretty, glowing red with a high, fine pink head. Sweet yet tangy cherry flavor. Creamy, some yogurt, lightly, only lightly tart. Not sour. No funk. Very clean, some caramel, nice cherry flavor. Donít see what could possibly be lambic about this, but it is tasty. Some spice as well. Too sweet, but decent.

250 ml bottle, poured into a shaker at home. ABV 3.2% Clear body, bright red colour. One finger of froathy pinkish head sitting on top, but not for long. Just some bubbles remaining on the surface. No lacing. Aroma of cherries, candy sugar. Taste is quite sweet, lots of cherry juice in there. A bit tart on the palate, thin body, average carbonation. Overall nothing special, but not that bad either.
