25 cl bottle with an abv of 3.5% listed. Poured to my 1/2 pint sampler glass displaying a clear, deep, "robitussin" red color, with abundant, pink, bubbles & rocky foam, and thick, clingy, ribbons and spots of lacing. The aroma was very "cherry pie", with a slight, cherry cough drop scent on the back. The flavor was syrupy sweet, light tartness to the cherry, no bitterness, and a medium to light body. I also detected a little silkiness to the mouthfeel as the head and lacing persisted. Fruit juicy, and not too complex, but then again, not a huge Lambic fan. Although it can be a nice dessert blend with chocolate Stout.

Clear ruby body and a bright pink head of a modestly sizeable disposition. Aroma of cherries, fake cherries, very fake syrupy cherries. Taste is carbonated cherry syrup, wet and sugary finish. Picture ocean spray with more sugar and carbonation. Totally not working.

Gift from a friend. Nice colour, decent aroma of cherries (surprise surprise) that didn’t prepare me for the chemical aftertaste. First taste on the tongue is sweetness, but then a little sour comes before the chemical flavour kinda takes over and then that dissipates until you’re left with the sweetness lingering. I can’t recommend it, nor would I buy it again.

Red colour, pink head. Very sweet aroma with notes of cherries of course. Sweet flavour, which (artificial) cherry concentration surprised me a bit. Only mild sourness. Light bodied with a dry finish. Not bad for a non-true lambic.

How bad can it really be? If I go in wanting fruit juice maybe it won’t taste too bad? The real question is what was I thinking, but it was late at night, the only nearby open beer bar was this docked boat floating in the river, what else was I going to do.

Despite expecting it the cherry character is just screaming from the aroma; fake, sweet and with a huge aspirin like quality, the fake cherry cough syrup character is almost overwhelming. It reminds me a bit of Capri-sun cherry “flavored” drink. In some ways it actually smells more red, than it does of cherry, if that makes any sense. And there is a sort of play-dough like aroma to this beer somehow too. The flavor is much the same, with some definite aspirin like notes in the finish. The beer feels viscous and syrupy on the palate, but because it is just juice it is actually somewhat refreshing; sort of.

Deep red colour with a small pink head. Strong and very sweet taste of canned cherries is a bit artificial. Taste is sweet, sour and full of cherries. Too light body, almost watery. Very refreshing summer beer but nothing special. A little bit too artificial for me. More like cherry limonade than kriek.

Um, it’s cherry soda. Just kidding, sort of. Has a nice aroma of cherries and almonds. If you’ve had a Luden’s cough drop, this is it bottled and carbonated. It’s pretty thin and pretty sweet. Fun to try though.

Pours a ruddy clear color with a pink tinged 2 finger head. Not the most complicated of lambics, it is an easy drinker with a nice sweet vs. sour ying yang thing going on with the cherry. Some almond notes in the aroma, finishes sweet and a bit sticky.

Pours a deep red with aromas of sour, light cherries. The body was medium and was sour, tart. Thin and watery in the finish.

Draught at ZBF 2010. Clear deep reddish - pink head. Lots of cherries & stones, strong almond and marzipan aroma, marzipan taste, fruity, high red berries, light sourish notes, freshness, thin finish.
