2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 diabel (1538) - Aarschot, - OCT 17, 2003
Dark colour, pink head. Sweet cherry aroma. Slightly sour, slightly sweet flavour. Less than the average kriek, but it is brewn in West-Flanders and not in the neighbourhoud of Brussels, so I asume they have to buy their Lambic in Brussels, if not it ain't no traditional Belgian lambic.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Suttree (3927) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Served as Jocobins rouge, so I hope this is the same beer. It was red with virtually no head. It smelled and taste like tart cherries, with hardly any other lambic characteristics. Very drinkable, but seemed a little bit one dimensional.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pinball (8607) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2011
from beerplanet.eu. was 3+ years past its best before when they shipped it to me, but it’s a fruit lamic, it’ll probably be fine. ALC IS 4.5%! bbf 3-8-2007 sampled 15-7-2011. clear , color is somewhere between brown and red.smooth large pink head. loads of fresh cherries in the aroma, distinct fruity sour note from the lambic, some sweetness, but balanced with the lambic sourness. does not appear old in any way.
Flavor is cherries, sour lambic base, ends quite sour, flavor is lots of cherries , also a slighlt citric sourness. refreshingly tart, still a little too sweet for my taste, but absolutely drinkable.

250ml bottle (Smatch, Bruges)
5 Big wheaty aroma, but tons of cherry too. Reminds me of some breakfast cereals from the past.
3 Deep red, purple aspects, persistent pink head
6 Very dark berry taste, not just cherry, but raspberries and mulberries contribute.
3 Soft palate, pleasant carbonation.
10+ Pleasantly wheaty, pleasantly sharp.

25cl bottle at home. This is another sweetened kriek which tastes very false. Rather like a lindemans. Sweet cherry flavor with no brett or acidity. Very one dimensional.
