1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. An unclear, orange colored beer with a minimal-sized white head. The aroma is sugary, candy-ish, with an artificial fruityness. The flavor is sweet as hell and lighlty sourish, with a sticky feeling on the palate. Sweet, fruity and artificial finish. Overall, way too sweet this one, even though there’s a little sourness going on. Sure won’t come back to this one. 140207

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
250ml bottle bought at Craftissmo in Tsim Sha Tsui East.
Cloudy hazy pomegranate-like reddish pink colour with thin trace of yeast sediments; Very thin head with soapy off-pink foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very small sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Very sweet aroma of peach juice and peach yoghurt, with passion fruit, cherry, perfume, sugar, faint tannic and light malt; Strong sweet taste of peach juice, with yoghurt, passion fruit, light cherry, malt, sugar, tannic and light yeast; Light body, thin palate; Mouth feel is essentially a mix of strong sweet fruit juice, with peach being most prominent, followed by passion fruit and light cherry. Lambic yoghurty taste is there but not strong enough to counter the sweet juice, which is tart but not assertive enough. Malt, tannic and light yeast are secondary, as this is just yoghurty fruit juice. Doh! Hoppiness is undetactable in nose and taste. Light tannic for lasting, strong sweet yoghurt finish; Slightly dry after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: There are good examples of fruit lambics like St. Louis Framboise and Peche, where fruitiness and Lambic’s tartness are equally balanced and intense. This one, though, suffers from too much not-so exotic fruit juice (peach over passion fruit) and not enough Lambic. For a lesser price, I rather drink fruit juice instead.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 27.10.2013, 0,25l bottle @ home:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is very sweet artificial passionfruit and peach syrup, sugar, caramel malts. Taste is sugar, sour-ish cherry/passionfruit/peach soda powder and syrup. Horrible, this is more like an alcopop made for kids or something like that.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Coloração laranja avermelhado. Bonita e única!
Aroma intenso e doce.
Essa doçura se repete no sabor. Tons suaves de maracujá.
Gostosa como curiosidade, já que o adocicado é muito forte e enjoativo.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a deep orange body with a pink hue and a medium creamy white head. Aroma is sweet passionfruit and peach tones, syrup and hints of pale malts far in the back. Taste is passionfruit and syrupy sweet peach-like tones with diacetyl-ish butter notes lingering far in the back. Medium body, a bit sticky, and medium to high carbonation. Reminds me of cheap home-made peach wine that we used to get drunk on in my teens. Drain pour, I can’t take this stuff! :-P

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
250 ml bottle at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 3%
Orange pinkish colour on the body, hazy, with one finger of off-white head on top. Medium duration, some lacing left behind. The colour is pretty impressive,I must say that.
Aroma of tropical fruits, I guess is the passion fruit, artificial. Then candy sugar.
Taste begin sweet, turns quickly to slighty sour and ends up sweet again, with some metal on the aftertaste. Very fruity of course, with those tropical fruits being present again, but there is also something "dirty" in there, just before the finish.
Thin body and fizzy carbonation.
It could be sitting on the shelf with all the artificially flavoured soft drinks at the suoermarket and noone would tell the difference.
