2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, brown in color, and with a small, dark beige head. Malty aroma with a good chili addition, some prunes and a touch of something reminsicent of higher alcohols. The flavor is much the same, dark maltyness and a chili touch, Would like more burn from the chili. Prunes, toffee and some chocolate too in the flavor. Full body. In the end the chili is more pronounced. A quite balanced beer that I think could use some more sting. 110108

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s black-red with a huge, creamy head and a light aroma of licorice and chili. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of licorice, rubber and chili with a mild, but clear chili-bite. It’s a bit monotonous.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. High creamy lasting off-white head. Clear very dark red brown body. Slightly sour berries chili roasted malt aroma. Sweet roasted mald caramel and mild chili flavor with little hops bitterness and a short aftertaste. As a big fan of chili I love beers with a heavy load of chili that you can actually taste. That is not the case with this beer. Generally with Refsvindinge: Please be a bit more wild!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Øllets Dag 2010, Kolding.
Pours red chestnut with a great, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has light chocolate, roasted malts and a good chili-burn. High carbonation, slightly watery palate. Flavour is soft, light chocolate, mild but firm chili. Feels more peppery actually. Okay malt balance to the chili. Fine experiment.
