COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Jacobs Jule Ale is an over fermented, dark Christmas Ale of 6.5 %, brewed on lager mash. Two types of hops have been used, one creating a certain bitterness and the other the very exquisite taste. Orange peel and a very fine treacle named Cane Molasses have been added, giving the beer a fine harmony.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours clear dark brownish red with a fine, large, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has slight vegetable notes, some smokiness, light spicy, caramel and oranges. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel Flavour is fine. Caramel, lighty toasted. Raisins, a bit of chocolate, light fruitiness. A tad too sweet, but still the best Jacobs beer to date.
