COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Jacobs Jule Ale er en overgæret mørk Jule Ale på 6,5 %, som er brygget af pilsnermalt. Der er brugt to typer humle, hvor den ene skaber bitterhed, og den anden den meget fine aroma. Der er tilsat appelsinskal og en meget lækker sirup som hedder Cane Molasses, hvilket giver harmoni.

English: Jacobs Jule Ale is an over fermented, dark Christmas Ale of 6.5 %, brewed on lager mash. Two types of hops have been used, one creating a certain bitterness and the other the very exquisite taste. Orange peel and a very fine treacle named Cane Molasses have been added, giving the beer a fine harmony.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spice - herbs, burnt kandis - brown sugar, moderate hoppy, onion, star anis notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy kandis sugar sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, spicy and herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091019]

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge huge brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and no. 10 with svin and rice. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Very deep reddish amber colour, not too much head. Aroma is plum, spices, horseraddish and some herbs. Flavour is liquorice, plum, horseraddish and some mildd earthy notes. Semioily palate.

Botytle at Jyske Øldage 2009. Clear orange red coloured with a small off white head. Sweet and spicy aroma of caramel with notes of dried fruits. Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits and spices (especially ginger) Spicy finish. Too much ginger.

Bottle at EsBF09. Clear very dark brown colour. Small tan head. The quite is sweet, sugary. Has a little vegetable. Ver good mouthfeel. Chalky finish, which goes very well with the mouthfeel.
