Bottle. It’s a clear, brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head leaving some lacings. The aroma is a bit weak, roasted malts and dried fruits do most of the work, but there’s also a vinous alcohol hint. The flavor is sweet, with chocolate notes and dried fruits, some alcohol giving a little warmth, and a pleasant level of bitterness to give it balance. Full body. Sweet finish with dried fruits and a some alcohol and bitterness. A quite nice beer, tasteful and pleasant, but a bit weak. 100327
