On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A clear, amber beer with a small off-white head. Toffeeish, malty nose balanced by a nice fruityness. Nice flavor too, with caramel sweetness, fruits and a touch of warming alcohol. Nice carbonation level and more or less full-bodied. Very easy to drink and also pleasant. (080913)

(On tap) Clear, warm, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and pumpernickel. Quite full-bodied with plenty of roasted malt and a somewhat perfumy fruitiness. No bitterness but quite some alcohol in the finish. 130908

Reddish brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of malt, caramel, cereal, sweets and raisins. A flavor of prunes, port, caramel, cereal, sweets and molasse.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with large creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel. sweet flavor. Oily palate.

Aroma has lots of caramel and nuts with vinous, citrus, and apricot notes. Clear orangish amber with a white ring. Spicy melanoidins with watermelon flavour. Light with sugary caramel and a tiny bit of hops in both flavour and bitter. Medium body, sweet finish, low carbonation.

Ruby color, not much head. Hard caramel in the nose, some fruityness. Medium-bodied. Caramelly, wineous, not really feeling like 7.5% beer. Quite good.

Clear deep amber with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and spicy notes. Flaovur likewiser with a sweet alcohol warming end.

330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 7.5%. Copper colour, large to moderate off-white head. Fruity / citrussy aroma, also notes of caramel and brown sugar. The flavour has moderate notes of citrussy hops on a caramel and brown sugar base. Very moderate bitterness. Not very complex. Clearly drinkable, but not my favourite Christmas beer. Wouldn’t buy again.
