Roughly nougat colored foam. Lovely aromas of hard roasted malt with a little hint of dark chocolate. The mouth is creamy and has a good caramel flavor with slight notes of dark chocolate and mocha. It is mostly the hard roasted malt on a light background of smoked malt dominates this porter. Rich and elegant.

(Bottle 0.33l 1 year after best before) Hazy black colour. Small, brown, fast falling, avarage thick head, reduced to stable ring. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth and medium oily texture. Aroma: Dark chocolate, coffee, prunes, light roasted and toasted, a bit bready. Taste: A bit watery, moderate sweet with light but disturbed roasted tariness, increasing in medium long finish. A hinch of alcohol. Aftertaste is not bad and roasted . One year storage don’t help this beer, still nothing special.

Bottle. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Hazy brown body. Malt caramel flaovr with a hint of coffre. Far from having the expected solid coffee malt liquorice or even choccolate flavor expected. Just a weak malty flavor without bitterness, Low carbonation. Short finish. Disappointing.

Too thin, not enough carbonation. Taste is alright I guess, I like my porters a little more bitter though.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with thin beige head. Aroma and taste of malt, butter, caramel and metallic notes. Flat short mouthfeel without tar, wood, dark chocolate and strong coffee notes. Harmless and boring. Please brewer: Use more of everything next time please.
