Maltsødme, figner let ristet duft. Mørk kastanjefarve men klar. Smager rund og lagret men med en for tynd krop til lagringen. Det virker som en Brown ale men bare med noget øllikør smag af urt. Ikke så god. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Maria (10176) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2014
It’s black (not quite opaque) with a small head. The aroma has notes of anise, ashes, light licorice and malt and hints of port. The flavor is sweet to medium sweet with notes of anise, licorice, malt, light fruit and weak hints of port wine - not very convincing.

Bottle. Pours opaque reddish black with tiny thin offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, overripe fruit, caramel, fudge, sweet chocolate and Tawny port wine. Taste is initial light sweet then light to medium bitter and light sour. Body is light oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long and sweet with notes of caramel, brown sugar, strawberry jam, cherries, ripe red plums and apricot. Overall very sweet.

Bamsen78 (3413) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby with small light tan head. Sweetish aroma of lozenges and malt. Bittersweet flavour of malt and fruit with some roasty and candylike notes. Not quite the flavour of port but rather fruity. Booze in the aftertaste. OK but more interesting than delicious.

Bottle, 6.2%. Sweet candy aroma, sweet liquorice, OK roasted. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is fruity with a mild brown sugar note. Ends drier, mild and clean bitterness with more fruit. Does not taste of port as such, but I guess the fruitiness comes from that.

Bottle @ home. Black color, medium to full sized light brown head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, toasted malts, coffee, caramel, nuts and rasisins. Taste malts, coffee, caramel, dark malts, raisins, nuts, lightly coffee, lightly earthy. Quite like it actually, nice beer. Medium body, medium carbonation.

0,33 l bottle boght @Sidinge Gårdsbutik, Vig Sjælland. A layer of brown bubbles, over clear dark ruby brown body. Sugary aroma of dark dried fruits, fotified wine and dark caramel malts. Taste is far on the sweet side. Malty, with tones of brown sugar, port, and harshly sweet peppery dark caramel. Bittering hops is noticable. Medium body. Juicy texture. Short sugar sweet malty finish [Sjællands Odde, 17.07.13]
