4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A real winner out of the Carlsberg stable--a welcome taste for a guy who just moved from Belgium to Denmark. A very well-balanced dubbel, with the right mix of spice, caramel, sweetness and savouriness. Am trying to think of a comparable Belgian--perhaps an Affligem bruin?

Bottle. Cloudy light brown colour and beige head. Aroma and taste of caramel, chocolate and earthy notes. Appearance like muddy waters and way lighter taste than the label claims in the beer.
