COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750 ml bottle. A very good Brown Ale. Not too heavy, but clear taste of chocolate and caramel malt. Not too sweet, and gives a semi-dry aftertaste that was well received by my stomach.....

Bottle from Brugsen - dark brown pour with a good beige head. Aroma and taste is dark slightly roasted malty, lots of caramel, some toffee, brown sugar, slight chocolate, nutty, overall pretty pretty decent brown ale.

Nutty, chocolaty aroma with hints of caramel. Dark red clear colour thin head. Roasred nutty taste with nice balancing bitterness. Medium body low carbobation. Nice beer with good taste but mild enough to make a good companion for food.

Off white head, clear red borwn body. Lacings as short curtains. Aroma; grass, apple, caramel, bread, yeast, ginger, toffee, clove. Taste; caramel, floury chocolate, apple, sweet dough, prunes, roasted almonds. Easy on palate. Finishes syrupy lingering with chocolate tones. Nice pal to cheese-and-ale-parties. Me like. (smagt 5/2-11)

Mahogany color, offwhite head. Roasted malt nose, caramel, hint of nuts. Roasted malt taste, earthy notes, hints of chocolate and dried fruit. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Shared 75 cl bottle. Poured a brown liquid with a small offwhite head. Aroma is sweet and heavy on the malts. As the bottle had passed the "best before" not much fruitiness was found in the taste. As in the nose heavy on the malts and some caramel and weak coffee.

Bottle, small stable creamy head, clear very dark red colour with some brownish taints, flavour of dark bread, caramel and some lightly stale grains, same flavour traits with some chocolate and a noticable medium bitterness. Drinkable but not really exciting.
