COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Notes of caramel and a slight bitterness, but not much else. Brown in color with a white head.

Small bottle @ Komfuret. Colour is dark brown, with dark beige foam. Aromas are malty, and small notes of caramel. Taste is very malty, but plains out fairly quickly. The bottle says its hopped with Nelson Sauvin, but i couldn’t put my finger on it. An okay brown ale all in all,

Tap @ Cafe Sorgenfri, Copenhagen. This is a light cloudy brown beer with a nice big heavy lacing light brown head. The aroma is on the sweet side of the scale with tones of chocolatrepaper, sweet caramel, cocoa- and nuts. It has a really nice - and a bit surprising if I may say, near smooth mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. Tastes fruity with distinct chocolate and cocoa tones. It’s actually really refreshing and quite good. Actually so much that I’ll have another! Likable. 08.01.2011

0.75 bottle. Aroma of roasted malt with coffee and some nuts. Pours a clear liquid of a brown-red color, could be compared to very dark amber. Slender, fast disappearing, brownish head. Taste is well balanced somewhere between sweet and bitter, the first one is slightly more noticeable in the beginning while the latter prevails the finish. Light body and rather thin texture emphasized by soft carbonation. I was pleased by its delicacy and poise, surprisingly good beer worth recommendation.
