COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a rather large white foamy head. Quite good - notes of buckthorn, malt, grain, berries, citrus and a hint of hops. Lacks a bit of hops.

(75 cl bottle purchased in Copenhagen) Rather big hiss when opened. Pours whith a slightly shady golden color, builds up a small white head. Acidic and sweet malty scent. Sweet malty and grainy taste, some hops towards the end of the taste cykle. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. I can’t find any buckthorn, and that usually have a very specific strong scent and taste.

Ok hoppy pilsner. Not too much fuzz about it but definately the best pilsner I’ve tasted from this macro. A bit on the sweet side, though....

Clear yellow with a nice lasting white head. Aroma is malt and some spicy fruitiness. Fruity sweet flavour with a berry acridity. Has the body of a czech pilsner, but lacks the balancing bitterness

Very fruity aroma (for a pilsner) – is that sea berries? I have no idea what sea berries tastes and smells like. Clear golden colour, below average carbonation. Larger and longer lasting (pilsner-) head. Taste is fairly malty and somewhat on the fruity and sweet side. The bitterness doesn’t show up until the aftertaste, where it gives you a rather long slightly bitter aftertaste. Lacks some of the freshness and crispiness normally associated with pilsners but otherwise not bad.

Bottle. Average light creamy white head that mostly diminished. Clear sparkling body with a golden color. Fair lacing left in glass. Hint of floral notes which I expect was the sea berries. Notes of light malty and some fruity notes as well. Quit surprisingly it was medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Well balanced between the light sweet and bitter notes. Nice somewhat dry and light bitter finish.
