Very pleasant beer. Aroma of caramel and floral. Appears amber red and sparkling with off white head. It’s medium bitter. the body is fizzy and a long bitter finish, but it’s nicely soft in its taste.

On tap. A hazy dark copper colored beer with a small, dense light head. The aroma is bready and lightly roasted malts. Toffee notes and some dried figs. It’s full bodied and soft on the palate, with a tad too much carbonation. Bread crusts, caramel and a balanced sweetness and bitterness. Lasting roasted and bready finish. In my opinion this beer suits the fall better than spring. Decent though. 150515

Clear dark amber, airy offwhite head. Malty, light hoppy aroma. Flavour starts malty with rough bitterness and then quickly becomes metallic in a quite unpleasant way. Would have been decent if wasn’t for the metal...

Bottle. 6.3%. Best before 22.01.16. Pours a clear, dark copper/brown with a diminishing tan head. Citrus hop aroma, with malty and fruity notes as it warms. Flavour is fruity with hops and an anise note. Bitter hop finish, fruity with a light anise/liquorice note, and an alcohol burn. Overall a decent, well-balanced beer. 04.04.15.

clear amber, smmoth offwhite head. nutty aroma, bitter caramel, malts. flavor is nutty, caramel, dark fruits, malty bitterness, Quite flavorful, european in the flavor profile, hops are not that dominant, one of the more flavorful from jacobsen, but then, the flavor is not overly interesting, however, it is quite complex , also some notes of wood.

75 cl bottle, shared. Clear, amber colour with a bubbly, off-white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malts, fruits, caramel, herbal hops. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with toasted malts, caramel and a spicy note - almost like mints. Good beer for food.
