Commercial Description:

[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Clear amber look and small head. Aroma of pines needles, needlewood, like old danish klosterbeer brewed with needles instead of hops. Nice weelbalanced flavor, where it’s never too much with the doses. Good brew.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Quite clear. Small off white head. Aroma of vegetables, fruits and light spice. Flavour is spiced and quite perfumed. Again loads of fruits and also a touch of herbs. Medium bodied. Dry. Fruity end.

Vibrant bronze colour. No head. Chewy caramel nose with vague spicy hop and plasticy phenols. Funny sugar cookie and shredded coconut and macadamia thing going on. Weird. Not awful, just weird.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber golden with a big, off-white/beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma is a weird blend of cereals and spices (especially some I have found in falafels). Quite cloying and kinda nasty. Sweet, metallic flavour with fruits and spices (falafels again). Icky. Same finish. Cloying. Lingering grassy notes. Grainy as it warms. Overall too weird and cloying to make sense – not at least due to the falafel spices. 14-08-09.

Bottle. Amber, appears thick, with small tan cap. Aroma has some alcohol harshness in the aroma, some ginger. Oily palate is thick. Flavors are spekulas and sweet gingerbread but not enough body to make those flavors good. The spice is nice but otherwise not.

Amber with a low but dense head. Very spicy and sweet aroma. The flavour is herbal and perfumed going in too many directions.
