3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Clear amber look and small head. Aroma of pines needles, needlewood, like old danish klosterbeer brewed with needles instead of hops. Nice weelbalanced flavor, where it’s never too much with the doses. Good brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Apricot-tart-cream, clear copper body. Scents of caramel, plums, grass, apples, toffee.
Taste of caramel, plums, apples, wort, dark sweet bread, chocolate.
Crispy fresh normal. Chocolate-caramel finish. Somewhat unvaried at the end but overall a nice brew, almost as a bock.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep copper amber in colour with a rather smooth head. Sarkling liquid nosing of floral, wet grass, hops and dust/wet soil aromas. Light prickling and medium-full bodied. Hoppy light sweet bitter taste. Finish is coherent with its light soft texture but not too long lasting. Nice one suits, the spring.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
75 cl. bottle at Easter dinner. Clear, amber-golden colour with a small, off-white head. Spicy aroma with citrus fruits, caramel and chocolate malts, pines some hard identifiable spices. A bit messy, not unpleasent. Light sweet taste. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, Finishes lightly bitter with spices and malts. Worked fine with the lamb, but the spices makes this beer a bit messy.

Suprisingly dark in the glass. The smell is an embodiment early spring (and impressively so) - fresh, bit of pollen, fruit and grass but in a wet, early days way rather than the full-bloom, hayfever, anti-hystamine of spring in full swing. As for taste, there was a nice pineconey/herbal scattering of hops tickling the edges of the tongue while the decent and determined caramally malt sailed straight down the middle. All in all, a very welcome reminder that the frost-bitten Danish winter is over (*perhaps the change in weather lent itself to a more favourable review).
