An ambercoloured a bit sweet Christman Ale with a beautiful creamy head, reminding me of Belgian Abbey ales.

Bottle. Sweet, aroma af strawberry, cherry, raisin, a little smoke. Medium bitter.

Pour dark clear amber red, with small white head. Aroma of orange peel, Brown sugar, cinnamon, prunes and a little bit of yeast. The taste is quite sweet, and quite christmassy. Medium watery body, with a fizzy carb. This beer has a slight boozy aftertaste, though it’s "only" 7,5 abv.

Drack den här för några år sen (pre-RB) till julmat och mindes att den var riktigt god. Fick nu tag på en "egen" flaska och minnet var det inget fel på. Väldigt vacker mörkorange öl med ett stort skum som långsamt lägger sig. Doftar mycket, av apelsinskal, vanilj, lakrits och knäckebröd. Smakar fint av honung, mörk sirap, citrus och julkryddor. En riktigt god öl.

Bottle at restaurant. Golden redbrown colour with a light beige and thin head. Sweet malt on the nose. Flavours of plums, juniper, spices and hints of alcohol. A touch og belgian yeast. Light bitterness and medium carbonation. A thin and slick mouthfeel. Overall a very pleasant christmas beer. The flavours are one of a kind but provides tasteful christmas flavours. Excelent with salty christmas food.

Dark reddish brown colour with small light tan head. Citrus hops, spices, orange, malt and mild bitterness in aroma. Flavour is citrus, orange, mild bitterness, malt and some spices. Low carbonation. Quite drinkable to be Christmas brew and with rather high ABV.

75 cl bottle, shared. Copper coloured beer with a big, off-white head. Clearly a Christmas beer, aroma is sweet caramel malts, prunes orange peel, cinnamon and licorice. The taste is medium sweet with caramel malts and those Christmas spices again, finishes fruity, light hoppy and with notes of liquorice. Medium body with a creamy texture, and a medium length finish. One of Carlsbergs best.

Bottle. Aroma of tangerines, oranges, malt and brown sugar. Clear deep red colour with beige head. Sweet flavour with tangerines, almonds and caramel. Very Christmaslike.

Tasted in blind taste. A very fruity flavour, and a warm taste of alcohol. Clear golden color with a white head.

Bottle: Pours red-amber with small light brown head. Aroma is sour red apples, caramel, sweet fruits, dough, nuts and hints of warm smoke. Taste is light sweet, light sour and medium bitter in excellent balance. Palate is crisp but round with good carbonation. Body is full and light oily with good duration.
