Bottled at the Chris_O Beer, Cheese and Curry powwow. A dark brown coloured beer. The aroma is sweet and malty with some fusty caramel notes. The taste is also sweet with caramle but also a little nuttiness. A tad oversweet but reasonable character.

Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. Russsety brown colour with no head. Candy sugar and brown sugar aroma and in mouth. Bit sweet. Just a bit "ucky" with the sweet brown sugar. Quite nice for a dark lager though.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Joeh (2038) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2005
Bottle at Chris’. Red coloured. Stale malt is the main element of this beer, it doesn’t feel alive at all. Boring and bland.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 turbothy (1007) - Bonn, GERMANY - NOV 6, 2005
Very little carbonation, no head, taste is completely flat and one-dimensional. Prominent artificial caramel flavour. No hops or bitterness to speak of.

Bottle. Brown with small. Quite malty, caramel, nuts, well balanced dunkel with a long medium bitter finish. Medium bodied. I’m surprised this is rated so low by others - it’s one of the better dunkels I’ve had - though I’m no huge fan of the style.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2005
33 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Reddish brown colour with a weak head. Aroma of malt and hints of caramel. Some roasted notes with little hoppy flavour. Some sweet and smooth aftertaste. But overall nothing speciel.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 HenrikSoegaard (9148) - Randers, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2005
Bottle. Another disapointing beer from Jacobsen. Creamy good head, but mostly diminishing, malty aroma but not nice. Average flavour. Too carbonated.
