English: Original Dark Lager is brewed according to J.C. Jacobsen’s original recipe. The colour is chestnut. It has a Hersbrucker hop aroma while the floor malted Munich malt adds a caramel character. The carbonisation is gentle and the hop bitterness is soft. Enjoy at 6-8º.

Original Dark Lager is brewed according to an old classic recipe, and it is a tasty dark lager with tasting notes of toffee and slightly burnt tones. The malt is heavy and reminiscent of a white beer. Hop bitterness is very moderate. A quite excellent beer, which is not surprising much.

75 bottle at home. Pours a clear red colour with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is malty and very nutty and fruity. Long sweet and malty aftertaste with a slight tang to it. Well, it’s nothing special but at least above average. Sold but a bit boring. The aroma reminds me of raspberry sodapop. Strange, but at least doesn’t taste like it, haha.
