750ml Bottle: Sweet aroma. Smells of dark ripe fruits, malts, nuts, grains, and caramel.
Poured dark amber in color with a small to medium-sized, off-white head that diminished quickly. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of malts, dark ripe fruits, caramel, dough, and a hint of spicy pepper. Medium body. Dry texture. Soft carbonation. Sweet, malty finish.

Jul 8, 2008 Bottle at CPH (Airport). Clear nutbrown - white head. Nutty, caramel, light metallic, berries, fruity, sweetness, light hoppy. Plain.

Jul 7, 2008 Poured a reddish-brown color with little head that dissipated rather rapidly. Aroma is not real strong, but has a somewhat sweet malty smell. Taste is also malty and sweet with hints of caramel and nuts. Little if any hop presence. Mouthfeel is okay, felt a bit on the thin side. Beer is okay, but not worth what I paid for it.

Jun 16, 2008 Not so dark for a "dark lager," as this one poured an amber-orange with a thick, tan head. Nice German malt and hersbrucker hop aromas. Easy drinking quality that is a lighter version of an Italian doppelbock, such as Birra Moretti. Some malt ball aroma and flavor. I liked this one. Flavorful and wonderfully drinkable.

Jun 4, 2008 not much of an aroma. Looks nice except for the fact that the head is non-existant. taste is nuts, caramel, malts. quite okay acutally. Session beer with a good taste, okay, but not distinguisable from most other such beers.
