Bottle, bought @ Carlsberg (Bar Jacobsen).
Pours almost completely black with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma has coffee, dark chocolate and mild roasted malts. Highish carbonation, great creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is milky creamy, chocolate, some cold coffee, light astringent blackberries (but very little). Extremely well-balanced and with a whole lot of flavour and character for its ABV. Probably not worth its quite steep price, but lovely nonetheless.

Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, strong coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, burnt, dark chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100821]

Light roasted aroma of dark chocolate and cocoa powder.
Light roasted flavour of caramel, dark chocolate, liquorice and hops.
Roasted and hoppy finish.

Bottled. Black coloured. Dense brown head. Aroma: Roast, spice, sweetness, Flavour: Dry roast, sweetness, caramel, cocoa, Medium to full bodied. Dry roasty bitterness in the end.

Bottle. Pitch black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The flavour is roasted malt, sweet barley, dar fruit and some toasted caramel. Long duration of roasted malt.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a light red shine under a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of malt both sweet and roasted. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours black with a creamy and lacing beige head. Lots of chocolate and sweet roast in the nose. Solid body, sweet roast and vanilla with some licorice. Some malt bitterness. Very smooth and pleasant. 210810
