On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. An almost clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted malt, coffee and some funky notes in the aroma. The flavor has a mellow roasted and sour flavor with coffee notes and chocolate, leading to a sourish finish. Full-bodied and dry. A quite lovely and funky porter I unfortunately doubt will hit the stores. (080913)

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Very deep brown appearance, with a good aroma of molasses and malt. Let down by a bland flavour and a weak palate. The secondary fermentation seems to have added a cheesy flavour as well.

On tap @ EBF 2008. Black body with a thin beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and fruity, very promising. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light roasted, coffee, moderate bitter and a nicely balanced acidity. This is really great stuff. Porter and brett is a fine combination.

Black with a small, but lasting dark brown head, leaving lace. Fruity roast malt aroma with licorice and grapefruit in the background. Sweet licorce and chocolate flavour with brettanomyces fruitiness in the background. I like the idea. There are not enough brett porters in the world.

(On tap) Black and opaque with just about no head. Lightly tart and fruity nose with notes of roasted malt. Medium body, lightly sweet dark malts with accents of pruny dried fruit. Light notes of coffee also. Has an intriguing underlying acidity all through the finish. A thrillingly different Porter, and one of the single most interesting beers from Jacobsen. 130908

[on tap at EBF 2008] Peppery roasty aroma with some horseblanket and meaty. Opaque cloudy very dark brown with no top. Chalky roast flavour with some Belgian-like horseblanket, sweet chocolate, and a peppery bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, low bitterness from dark malt.

On tap at EBF 08. Thanks to Maria for pointing me in the direction of this one. Slightly sour brett aroma. Good fruit as well. Sour, nice, but good smoke. Good sour fruit. Sour apple with smoe toffee. Bit of heat from spice.
