English: Saaz Blonde is brewed according to the Belgian tradition but with Czech Saaz hops. It has a light colour with a blonde head. The flavour is fruity, contrasted by the dryness of angelica, clove and coriander. The aroma is rounded by a pine needle character from the Saaz hops. The finish has a moderate bitterness. Enjoy at 5-7 degrees Celsius.

33 cl flaske, 7,1 %, købt i SuperBest, 17. juli 2013. Almindeligt kulsyreindhold. Én af Jacobsens heldigere øl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Teoretycznie mam do czynienia z piwem w stylu belgijskim, tymczasem w smaku tylko odrobin? ró?ni si? od typowego lagera. Dopiero pod koniec na podniebieniu mo?na odczu? typowo belgijskie nuty.

330 ml bottle served cool at home in a Hoegaarden snifter. Spicy woody aroma. Gold with a white head. Spicy floral flavours dance around red berries. Full bodied and tasty, better than expected.

Somehow this beer manages to successfully blend the clean freshness of a decent lager with a more complex strong Belgium beer. deceptive in depth, light body, a little fizzy, medium sweetness. Surprisingly available at Tesco in the UK.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2015 50cl bottle@home. This is my favorite Jacobsen product since they killed off Camomile Dubbel. To my taste, the marriage of Saaz hops and Belgian golden blonde works for the guys at Jacobsen (Carlsberg) who know their craft. The fruity spicyness with that subtle touch of yeast is a treat. I don’t really catch it in the aroma, but the taste of the slightly unclear at once both serious and a fizzy teaser of a beer really pleases me. Alcohol and sweetness under control also. A great beer showing Carlsberg when they are at their best

Copenhagen 9/1 2015. 75 cl bottle from Netto. Pours clear gold with white head. Gradually subsiding. Aroma is spicy with notes of citrus and with some bitterness. Medium carbonation. Taste is of wheat malt with some sweetness. Not much bitterness. Ok - for a weissbeer.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a huge creamy head. Aroma of overripe fruit, banana, peach, floral and earthy hops. Sweet, fruity, yeasty, low bitterness, light soapy off-flavors, dry-ish aftertaste. Medium-bodied, slightly watery texture.

Pours a blonde colour, taste is dry and yeasty, saaz hops quite prominent, good blend of Czech Hops and Belgian brewing methods
