COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Saaz Blonde is brewed according to the Belgian tradition but with Czech Saaz hops. It has a light colour with a blonde head. The flavour is fruity, contrasted by the dryness of angelica, clove and coriander. The aroma is rounded by a pine needle character from the Saaz hops. The finish has a moderate bitterness. Enjoy at 5-7 degrees Celsius.

750 ml bottle. Very elegant and tasty. Dry from the start. Spicy, and only very moderatly fruity/sweet. Can compete with any belgian blonde. The Jacobsen and Semper Ardens beers is a proof that also the big brewers can brew excellent beers. If they want to.

Maybe the one I was most excited about when we opened the tradepack from Cunningham. This one is a typical belgian with lot of yeast and some herbs in the back. Very drinkable and light in its taste which makes this one quite dangerous at 7 abv.

75 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are spices, yeast, and citrus.

My favorite carlsberg. Light blonde, but with excellent aroma and palate. In particular, the banana aromatics resembles the bananas from matador mix so much that it brings back childhood memories. Lovely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cunningham - many thanks, Henrik! The beer pours out in a deep amber-golden colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and Belgian yeast. Taste of wheat, light Belgian yeast, hops, flowers and light caramel. Mild and aromatic finish - high enjoyable.

Pours a very clear blond beer with no saturation and a big white head. smells fresh, floral and hoppy. The smell is really mild but nice. Tastes slightly bitter but it has a kind of unnatural taste to it. Also leaves behind a weird palate.
