COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Pours a clear, very pale yellow (with a faint greenish glow). Big, fluffy white head with a bit of lacing. Tart, hoppy hay aroma with faint notes of yeast and remote notes of cooked vegetables. Sweet as it warms. A bit vineuse. Sweet and a bit oily flavour, fruity and with notes of hay. Sweet, dry and tart finish. Very little carbonation - probably why it’s called ’velvet’, but it’s not working for me. Overall boring and too sweet in a corn kind of way; I can see where it wants to go, but it’s not working. 25.09.11.

Denne øl burde være drukket på teressen. Let og perlende. Savner noget bitterhed.

Copenhagen 19/12 2014. 75 cl bottle from Irma. Pours pale yellow with big white foamy head. Slowly subsiding. Aroma is distinct and a little sour and grapefruity. Medium carbonation. Taste is slightly bitter sour like grapefruit but with some sweet fruity notes. Ok for a wheat beer - but a bit girly.

Clear pale yellow color with high white airy head. Aroma of sweet, fruit. Taste i very sweet with some alcoholic, cider like finish. Fizzy feeling in your mouth. I would prefer this beer ice cold in a warm summer day. A bit too sweet to my taste, but drinkable.

Huge offwhite head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Mealy fruity aroma with grape notes. Dryish mealy fruity taste with grape and honey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, slightly fizzy. Dryish fruity grape aftertaste with herbal Champagne and apple notes. Nice, drinkable, surprisingly moreish. (0.75l bottle, from Føtex, Frederikshavn.)

Flaske. Bleggul, let uklar, flot hvid skum krone.

Sour and yeast in the aroma. Sur but malty flavor. Slightly bitter that disappears quickly in the mouth and gets no grip at all. Meaningless beer to drink. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Very nice, yellow / golden wheat ale with high head. Crystal clear, pearly, well carbonated. Aroma is fruity, peach, passion, elderflower. Taste is soursweet. Very good, but can't drink a lot of them. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smaken følger aroma, men mer vinøse toner her.

Pale pale straw golden body, clear. Huge white foam and some lacings. Pale malts, hops, grapes, flowers, hay and dust to the nose. Tastes sweet malts, lemon, apple, syrup. Smooth. Sweet sugary finish. Close to soft drink. Some teenager boozer in luxurious wrapping. [75cl br sp.btl abv5.9% BB20.07.2014, B@Kvickly, T@Middelfart Fyn DK]
