Bottle at ÅBF08. Sherryish sweet aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Sugary malt aroma. Malty and sherryish flavour like many other barley wines.

Bottle thanks to Claudio Zastrow. Deep red/brown color with small white head. Sweet aroma with Porto notes and some wood. Strong alcohol taste with Porto, lots of dark fruits and wood. Not overly sweet. Long finish A very good beer.

Clear deep reddish colour with a very small off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of toffee, flower and oak. Light chocolate sweet flavor with toffee notes and hints of oak. Sweet fruity finish with a vague alcohol note.

Bottle. 375ml [Tasting @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen]. Clear medium amber color with a virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruit - berry sweetness, wood - oak, vanilla, port - sherry, vintage. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat and finish feel is light alcoholic. Much better than I expectet but way to expensiv for what it is ! (110308)

Tasting at Ølbaren 2008.03.11 - thx guys. Dark amber coloured with almost no head. Really nice aroma - flavour of malt, spices, oak, caramel, dark dried fruits, and hint of vanilla. A bit thin bodied.
