On Tap. Clear orange colour with virtually no head. Malty aroma with notes of dark fruits and caramel. Sweet powerfull flavor.

Beautiful red/brown with a copper hue and a very small head. The aroma has sweetness, notes of raisin, malt and prunes. The flavour has sweetness, notes of roasted malt, raisin, dark fruits and a slightly dry citrus. After having tasted the 2 barrel aged versions, this falls through when it comes to complexity. It’s not bad, just very ordinary.

Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma is fruity (raisin) and malty (caramel). Clear, brown coloured beer with a short head. Taste is sweet, bit vinous, raisin in it, fruits. Okay & straight forward.

Amber with a lasting off-white head. Malty and somewhat bready aroma with a hint of exotic fruits, and some port. Dry with burning alcohol, very aggressive flavour - in a bad way.

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A dark amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel and alcohol. A rather simple beer, that definately has improved by 6 months in barrels, I’m surprised how simple this beer is.

Draught at ÅBF08. Sweet malt aroma, hint of sherry. Clear red brown colour. Very small head. Sweet flavour, some sherry. Raisin. OK.

Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Dark orange color, short head. Fruity and malty aroma. Strong taste, firm malty body, raisins. Slight alcohol.

Århus2008. From tap. Pours deep amber and golden, clear. Aroma is mild woody with a solid fruity note. Flavour is medium sweet and malt dense flavour initially. Turns into a light fruity note with a more light malt base. Solid rasin sweet flavour into the finish. Somewhat bland into the finish. Barrels clear add a lot to the brew.

Bottle. Head almost non-existant. Very dark ruby clear body. Mild vineous aroma. Very vineous heavily carbonated spicy, notes of liquorice flavor. Long coffee liqorice aftertaste.

Draught at Aarhus festival. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Week but nice malty aroma. Powerfull wionderfull flavor. Strong licorice and rasin notes. Long nice finish. Creamy palate. Good stuff.
