Flaska från Systembolaget. Mörkt kaffefärgad vätska med högt skum. Enorm sötma i doften tillsammans med röda bär, kaffe och lite tobak. Torr smak med julbrusig vätska. Kort eftersmak.

Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe och karamell. Syrlig, lätt sötma. Trevlig beska.

Bottle 330ml. @ PBF2012.

Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate malt, light coffee, balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120727]

Almost black with a thin head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, some coffee and dark bread. Thin body for this type of beer. Lacks depth and identity.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order. Black with a small head. This was a soft one with roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee and dark bread. Also notes of toffee. Nothing spectacular but pleasant enough.

Dark brown body, tan head. Chocolate, dry, hazelnut and earthy. Dry cacao, metal taste. Light bodied. Not my kind of beer. (At ZZT V)

33cl bottle @ ZZT V. Almost black colored, small beige head. Smell dusty, earth, malts. Taste malts, some coffee, bitter, lightly earthy. Medium body, medium carbonation.

@ZZT V. Pitch black with a nice light brown head. Smells roasty, slightly smoked, wood, sweet, some chocolate. Tastes slightly roasty, a bit sweet and some coffee. Quite a nice body for its abv, soft carbo.

Almost no head leaves a bit of lace in a dirty beige color. Dark brown as a stout should be with lots of sediment. A bit thin with a burnt aftertaste.
