Misdemeanor is built on robust flavors but with practiced restraint. It is a medium-bodied amber ale with a balanced caramel sweetness and a heft of biscuit overtones. Balanced with a combination of earthy hop varieties from the Willamette Valley.

Malt - Domestic 2-row, Crystal, Biscuit.
Hops - Liberty and Willamette
O.G. - 13°P

Big fluffy head on a brown-orange brew. Malty, grainy, a bit grassy-earthy at times as it warmed up. It really almost seemed like a brown ale in its sweetness, and wasn’t too acidic as many amber ales can be. There was a little ale peatiness, and it was well-played. Very drinkable. On tap at the brewery in Hampton, GA. Travelling back home from a conference in Atlanta.

On tap Lighter dry aroma. Malty. A little spice or something. Like nutmeg. Looks better than any Amber I’ve seen. Bold brown color. Taste is malty with a bit of hops. Subtle hebaciousness. Palate is dry. Maybe too heavy for a Amber. Solid amber ale.

Warner Robins, Ga - Lazy Dog Growler - 12 oz bottle. Murky medium orange pour, little to no head. Aroma has some sweetness, with some molasses and dates. Flavor leans to the sweet side as well with some date-like fruitiness, a touch of cake mix sweetness and a touch of caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel is smooth, This did not set my world on fire.

This is a bit of a surprise. I addition to the expected malt, there’s a berry fruitiness that makes this fairly interesting.
