Tried this at the Jailhouse. Nice with the tamales they were serving. This a solid amber ale that is easily drinkable. Very balanced.

Appearance: Pours a hazed dark amber with a durable creamy tan head. Smell: pretty much just malts. But appealing, with no off-notes. Taste: Follows nose. A simple but competent amber. The aftertaste is a bit more bitter than usual for ambers. Mouthfeel: medium body; a bit smoother than average. Overall: basic and simple but well-crafted amber beer.

Bomber from Harry’s Farmer’s Market, Alpharetta. Pours a dark amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of canned fruit cocktail (without the tinny note) and caramel malts. The taste is caramel malts and a faint floral hop finish. Medium bodied. Fairly bland, but balanced enough and fairly drinkable.

Pours a cherry wood color with a thin tan ring. Aroma of roasted nuts and hints of toffee. Very earthy with a ton of roasted malts and bread malts. Caramel lingers throughout. Very light with good carbonation. Easy to drink. A nice sweet yet salty finish.

This beer was really nice to look at with a rich, reddish color. I could taste molasses at the end. I really enjoyed this beer. A nice selection for fall.

Pours a deep coppery amber with a tall, sticky, long lasting off-white head. Mild malt aroma with a touch of piney hops. The flavor is well balanced. Just slightly more sweet than bitter. Easy drinking, ok for an amber.

Deep amber color. Looks pretty good. A little sticky caramel and nutty flavor. Some toffee and some candi sugar. Ok but the finish is a little thin.
