4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
While not the best stout, this certainly ranks up there with the better ones. I smelled a hint of cocoa powder, and a dark chocolate bar. Personally, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to enter the world of stouts.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from world beers. Pours inky black with a dark tan head. Smells surprisingly boozy considering it’s 7.6%. Also chocolate. Not much alcohol in the taste. Lots of chocolate though and roasted malts. Pretty smooth. I like it.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Dark pour, thick brown head with lacing that remained on the glass. Thin body, coffee flavor with tin can or metal tones that I didn’t enjoy. I don’t plan to buy Jamaica Stout again.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I could’ve sworn I rated this one already but oh well, here goes: Pours a dark rich mahogany with a tan head. Nose full of smoke, chocolate, and caramel. Notes of chocolate, charcoal, toffee, coffee, and caramel flavors on a solid frame.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark black color, smells of coffee and dark chocolate. Also tastes like coffee. Very thick. Nothing overly special, gets this score because I just like this style.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I’m a big lover of stouts but nothing really stands out about this particular one. It has a malty flavor but I would consider it to be one dimensional.

On popping the cap one is greeted by a very pleasing aroma of roasted malt.Pours with a small off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. The flavour is very balanced, not overly bitter and harsh like FES and yet not overly sweet. It goes down rather smoothly with a slight alcoholic burn and most importantly it's not overly heavy on the palate and it leaves a rather pleasant after-bitter.
