Just another standard commercial beer. Taste is like burnt metal just has nothing going for it. Average

Bottle- A very boring beer. Not up to Boag’s usual standard. Nothing special.

Clear gold with a thick head that slowly dissipates, wide rings of lace. The appearance is nice, the beer is not. Thin malt (or maybe corn or rice) that doesn’t move from that base, except to add a little carbonation at the finish. Disappointing.

Another rubbish beer from boags.... see my comment from "boags draught" and apply that to this beer also.

So I’m only the third person is the US to rate this. Cool. Pours a clear light golden color with a little amber present and a thick white head. Aroma is of your typical main stream imported lager. Has a skunked malt and hop aroma with some carn. Flavor is that skunked malt taste and a little hop bite. Bringing up the back end is aluminum and grain. Has an aluminum malt and hop finish. I must admit; I was expecting a little worse but this one is better than, say, Carlsberg.

Enjoyable aroma of grassy hops. Went downhill from there, thin and watery palate, a light bitterness but nothing much to enjoy here.

Bottle 0.33L. Clear pale golden color with big head that disappears quickly. Some carbonation. Sweet malts, grain, some bitterness, but overall rather mild taste. Surprisingly almost no aftertaste. Very different from other lagers I’ve had, but can’t say it’s something I need to try again.
