Throw your expectations out the window. We know Stouts are supposed to be dark, but what fun is that? Really. Casper White Stout is a white buffalo standing out from the herd – a diamond in the rough, white chocolate – you get it. Distinctively golden in color with big Pilsen malt flavor, and a touch of hops. Your next step? Pour it in your glass. Available in 6pack Cans and on Nitrogen Tap.

Clear golden blonde pour with a 1 finer, frothy white head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate syrup, creamed corn and a little toffee. Flavor is sweet corn, vanilla, chocolate, toast, and light planty hops. Light body, neutral to slightly oily feel and light, but sharp carbonation. Decent, pretty weird, not sure why it is listed as a stout, I’m pretty sure it’s just a Golden Ale with some chocolate and vanilla flavoring. It reminds me of Great River Dirty Blonde, but not quite as good.

Poured golden yellow to honey (Awesome for a stout!). Nose was light with notes of honey, fruit and candy. Taste was caramel, with cream soda with an alcohol burn. Palate was oily, and smooth with a lingering burn. This beer let you know it was a stout through taste not appearance. Good unexpected beer, also our taste was on a nitro tap.

Great find! Have had on tap and just got hands in a six pack. The white chocolate up front, not a heavy finish, just right! My first from page, but very unique. Stout drinkers delight, well done. Cheers!

On Nitro. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with thick foamy white head. Cookies and cream on the nose, with just a little roast; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some cocoa. Really nice after dinner beer.

On Nitro Tap at The Beer Exchange, Kalamazoo 05/01/01 - Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small foamy white head. Very light aroma. More vanilla then anything, with notes of grain, and a touch of chocolate. Taste of light roasted coffee, wheat, toasted grains, and vanilla. Interesting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

In the hotel bar at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point. Amazing over the weekend how craft beer savvy that town is in the bars/restaurants. Surprising golden pour with a nitro head. Aroma really hits white chocolate on the head, with some cream and raspberry. Taste is weak chocolate, sweet cream, a bit of fruit. Shrug, a bit of a one trick pony, but they really hit that one the nose. 12.7

12 oz can. Deep amber color like, say, an APA. Good head. Sweet aroma with baked bread, caramel and lots of vanilla. Flavor: Lightly sweet. Overly high level of vanilla. Medium+ body and medium carbonation. O: a contradiction in terms ("White stout"), this is really a flavored amber ale.

3/20/15 (Can) - Nice golden pour with a good amount of carbonation and mild head. Heavy vanilla scent. The taste was an off putting artificial vanilla that was overwhelming, destroyed the taste of the beer, and left an unpleasant after taste.

12oz can from Crossroads. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small foamy white head. Very light aroma. More vanilla then anything, with notes of grain, and a touch of chocolate. Taste of light roasted coffee, wheat, toasted grains, and vanilla. Interesting

12oz can from Xroads. Poured a clean dense deep gold with an average frothy off white head. Aroma/flavor of chocolate, medium toast, light coffee bean, touch of over ripe banana. Palate is medium at best with stronger csrbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste. Hey Stone this is the way you do a "golden stout".

12/27/14. 12oz can from a QC Hy Vee. Golden pour with a small off-white head. The aroma doesn’t remind me of a stout in the slightest. Sweet, vanilla, I guess a little chocolate? Otherwise just pale malts, doughy, and sweet. The flavor doesn’t either, except maybe a hint at chocolate. Otherwise just sweet with pale malts. Weird.
