2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden blonde pour with a 1 finer, frothy white head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate syrup, creamed corn and a little toffee. Flavor is sweet corn, vanilla, chocolate, toast, and light planty hops. Light body, neutral to slightly oily feel and light, but sharp carbonation. Decent, pretty weird, not sure why it is listed as a stout, I’m pretty sure it’s just a Golden Ale with some chocolate and vanilla flavoring. It reminds me of Great River Dirty Blonde, but not quite as good.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Look: pours a golden color. Slightly cloudy. White head, disappears quickly.
Smell: chocolate. Vanilla. Rum???
Taste: chocolate. Vanilla. Cocoa powder. Very sweet.
Feel: a lot more carbonation than expected. Very sweet. Not as dry as it would look.
Overall: surprisingly different. I would say it is almost a stout. Definitely not an IPA or lager.
First drank: 7/23/14 home

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Okay I "get it". However it's hardly a stout. Had a nice large head that settled after a bit. Clear amber. Melo chocolate malt aroma. Sweet chocolate malt flavor with thankfully enough carbonic tang to help balance. Okay body. Some medicinal flavors in the aftertaste. Fun to try once but not really for me.

Draft in Tampa. Super sweet aroma. Looks like a domestic lager. Light chocolate flavor- unique. As others stated, good one time beer but 6 pack would be overkill.

Tap - small foamy head, clear medium gold color, roasty and chocolatey aroma and flavor, reminds me of chocolate milk, very different from what it looks like, interesting for sure

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This pours a clear, amber color with a foamy head. The aroma is sweet with hints of chocolate and wheat. The taste is full of chocolate malts with a good texture but has a bit of an awkward after taste. An interesting beer to try, but not something I would be eager to try again.

Draft at Clinton hall nyc. Tan brow color with a nitro head. Taste and smell is artificial with a weird sweet chocolate tone. Eh

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours a golden body with a white head. Aroma is hazelnut and cream soda and yeah... not very much in the way of a stout. Taste is sweet and also full of hazelnut. I don’t really know what makes it a stout... Tastes kind of janky and artificial.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
I wanna like it, it smells chocolatey and smooth... Unfortunately it looks nothing like a stout should look, therefore loses most of the points. Flavor is similar, notes of white chocolate and sweetness, but drinks unlike a stout at all. I get the whole trying to be different, but I prefer my stouts to be stout.

Pours golden a little hazy. Sweet smell and a pure bubble gum flavor. Unique.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from can, light straw color with syrupy sweet aroma. Taste is cream soda saccharine with vanilla, very little hop bitterness detected. No roasted flavors = NOT a stout. Call it a "sweet ale", it's unique but not particularly good.
